ARROWROOT POWDER
Absorbent and silky smooth. Arrowroot is a starch made from the rhizome (or root) of certain tropical plants. It efficiently absorbs moisture and oil without getting too cray, and is a great substitute for corn or wheat derived products. And because it's a starch, it can also help pre-set hair for styling and create volume!
RAW CACAO
Protective and darkening. Cacao powder is made from sun dried (un-roasted) cacao beans. It is produced in a cold press process, leaving living enzymes intact and much of the plant benefits unaltered. This rich, conditioning powder is high in vitamin C, magnesium, and anti-oxidants... all helpful in protecting skin and hair from harmful toxins in the environment. It also superficially tints the hair upon application, so you can get a couple more dry shampoo touch ups in before having to wash!
how to apply
Players choice here... sprinkle a bit into hands, rub hands together, and toss hair upside down to tousle at roots OR for a heavier application, part hair into sections and sprinkle onto scalp, and blowdry away excess.

bentonite clay
Alkaline/Basic, Desiccant. Not basic like brunch and mimosas in your uggs! Germies need a certain pH level to survive and proliferate... Bentonite clay has a higher pH than your skin and body, AND a higher pH than most of those bad bacteria can handle. So, once that clay is applied to your pits... ZAP! Not to worry, your native bacterium naturally repopulates in their place, restoring balance once again. Bentonite clay also a pro at absorbing moisture, so it will help keep you feeling dry and fresh!
raw virgin coconut oil
Antimicrobial, Soothing, Protective. Did youuuuu know coconut oil is a natural mild antiseptic? So much more than a yummy smell and silky texture, this household fav helps reduce microbe presence and promotes healing by sitting atop the skin for a short time, giving cells a recuperative breather, before being broken down and absorbed.
how to apply
Here's where we get friendly... Rub a small amount on pads of fingers to warm and simply spread on pits. Hand application is part of Deo's function! Your armpits generally have much less biodiversity than the rest of your body. A daily dose of your body's natural bacterial defense could actually help skin health and odor over time!
