Every ingredient we use has a reason to be included in our formulation.
We use essential oils to control bacteria, calm the skin, and create luxurious scent profiles. These essential oils are more than just a pretty face- some are anti-microbial (like sage, tea tree, sandalwood, and basil), others are anti-inflammatory (like lavender, rose, neroli, and ylang ylang), and most of them have multiple "jobs" (beneficial properties) that we put to work for you and your body.
BUT! There are so many other important players! Alkaline clay to creates a pH environment that is hostile for negative microbes, arrowroot creates a silky texture, soothes, and absorbs moisture, camelina gives your skin the building blocks to heal with it's mega doses of vitamin E and omega-3s.
